レリーフはドローイングと立体の間にある、生々しく不思議な存在である。身体をテーマにした3つのレリーフは、作者の実体験などと結びつき、言葉にできない感情を浮き彫りにしていく。デフォルメされた身体や身体のパーツは青と白に統一され、どこか同じ人物のようにも感じる。

Reliefs are vivid and enigmatic entities that exist somewhere between drawing and sculpture. These three reliefs, which take the body as their theme, draw on the artist’s personal experiences to bring to light emotions that defy words. The stylized bodies and body parts are rendered uniformly in blue and white, giving the impression that they might all belong to the same person.
